Each of our issues includes not only the work of the Lottura team, but of our readers as well.

For selected submissions, our Editor will help you finalize your work for publication. We view this as an opportunity to work together as creators to bring something impactful and intentional to our readers.

Open Writer calls
Historical Fiction - 2,000-3,000 words
A story that includes one more of the following concepts: Ocean, ships, discovery, exploration, stars, sailor mythology.
The Spirit of Exploration - 750-1,000 words
A reflective article on the innate human desire for discovery and exploration.
Submission Deadline - September 18
Submissions open September 20
For both The Lottura Post and The Lotturette, please share a handful of examples of your writing, along with topics you generally enjoy writing about and what you draw inspiration from.
We are also accepting submissions for photographs, illustrations, recipes, and poetry.
